Question:
Mating hitch = 306-X7203 Primarily concerned with two things: 1. will the the stinger end stop clear of the muffler 2-3/8 in from center of locking pin hole to stinger end? and 2. will the auto pin fit within the bumper cutout. Thanks!

The Thule T2 Pro bike rack # TH83JV will fit EcoHitch # 306-X7203 for your 2017 Subaru Crosstrek. However, it requires a receiver depth of 2-1/2 inches so if you only have 2-3/8 inches it would fit the muffler if that is what is directly behind the hitch receiver. The auto-pin would not be an issue if there was room for the bike rack shank.
What I recommend is the Thule DoubleTrack Pro XT # TH92BJ. It requires just 1-1/2 inches of receiver depth. No auto-pin to worry about with this rack.
