Question:
My right turn signal does not work coming out of converter box trailer wiring on 2012 dodge journey. New wires but only just plugged into trailer after 1 ear of being on. Used tester. All other lights work including left blinker.

If you used a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to check that right turn signal going into the converter and coming out of the converter and it works going in but not coming out, there are really only 2 possible options. The first is that you have a bad ground to your converter and just need to make sure you have a clean metal to metal connection. If your right turn and stop still won't work after cleaning a ground, then the converter is bad and will need to be replaced.
If you need to replace your wiring harness, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118567 if you have incandescent lights and # 118536 if you have LED lights on your Journey. Both of these wiring harnesses install behind your tail lights on either side and require a power cable from the battery and a ground.
