Question:

I just purchased a camper - the sewer dump connection is missing the pins that lock the hose in place. It appears they have been broken off for some time. Will this adapter fit over the existing connection so I can lock the hose in place?

Expert Reply:

Since your hose still has the connector on it just minus the pins it may or may not fit into adapter # T1029-2. But to be sure you can measure the outer diameter of the end of your hose in question. If it is roughly 3-1/2 inches then it can fit the female end of the adapter which has a 3-1/2 inch opening. Use solvent # A05-0303 to join the pieces. I have also included a link to the hoses we have should you decide to just replace the hose.
