The Superchips Flashpaq F5 Performance Tuner - Gas/Diesel # SU4845 is a confirmed fit to work with your 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 with 5.2 Liter V8 Gas Engine. If you don't need the California Approved version, you can use # SU3845. Either of these tuners are rated to increase horsepower by up to 18.7 and torque by up to 30.2 lbs. There are pre-loaded vehicle specific tunes to boost throttle response, towing performance, and fuel efficiency. It will also allow you to change settings to adjust your vehicle shift points and will let your change limiters. You can upload software updates with this unit's USB port and cable.
