Question:
Hello! I am looking for the best bike rack option for my 2017 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hatchback. It has the dual center exhaust. Would a hitch receiver still be an option or would a roof rack be my best option? Any input you can offer would be greatly appreciated! Thank you,

Since your 2017 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hatchback does have the dual center exhaust, the best option for transporting your bikes is going to be a roof rack and roof bike carrier. The trailer hitches currently available for the 2017 Honda Civic will not work on vehicles with the center exhaust.
As long as your Honda Civic is a 4-door model, I recommend the Rhino Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack, which consists of # RRVA126B-2 for the 49 inch crossbars, # RRRLKVA for the legs and # DK453 for the custom fit kit. This system features sleek, aerodynamic crossbars that will provide an extremely quiet ride when installed. I have attached an installation video on a 2017 Honda Civic for you to check out.
Then for a bike carrier, I recommend looking at the Thule UpRide Roof Bike Rack # TH599000. This is compatible with the aero-style roof rack crossbars and will transport 1 bike of up to 44 pounds. This carrier will secure your bike by its wheels for a no frame-contact application.
I have attached a demonstration video for you to check out as well as a link that will take you to our available selection of roof bike racks for you to look through.
