Is Towing Mirror part # CM11800 Larger than Mirror of Truck it Fits

In the picture it looks like the tow mirror is larger or as large as the truck mirro By dimension it is not. So what is the size

If you check out the install picture I attached for the CIPA mirror part # CM11800 you can see that when it is installed the mirror face of it is larger than the truck's mirror.
