I want to order this roof rack. And also the Thule Hullivator. Are they compatible. Does it require other parts?

Yes, the Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898 is compatible with the Wingbar Evo Bars # TH711400 that you referenced. You will not need any adapters for this. I have attached our review video where the Hullavator has actually been installed on Thule Aero Crossbars.

If your 2008 BMW 5 Series doesn't have existing rails or crossbars then you will want to use the Traverse Roof-Rack foot Pack # TH480R and Fit Kit # THKIT1325. You will want to use the 47 inch WingBar Evo Bars # TH711200 along with the Evo Foot Pack # TH710401 if your BMW has raised rails that run front to back.

If you would like to lock the Hullavator into your load bars then you can use the Thule Lock Cylinders # TH450200, and if you wanted to lock just your foot pack you will want part # TH450400. You can use part # TH450600 for all 6 locks if you choose to do so; this way everything can be locked and unlocked by 1 key (2 keys come with each kit).
