Question:

Recently I ask questions about the Super Springs to help with the sag in my 2010 Dodge Dakota QuadCab. My trailer TW is about 500lbs., trailer is 3000lbs. Your reply to Micheal H. with his 2007 Dakota on using Timbren is a similar problem for me, truck sag and rough ride intermiting bouncing. What do you recommend for me, same Weight Distribution? Should I consider the Pro Series #49569 with a 400-800 TW which could take in consideration the weight in my truck bed behind the axle and TW? The System you recommend him was a 600 TW which I would be nervous about with only 100lbs to max out. As always I appreciate your advice. Thanks

In cases such as yours where suspension enhancement is not solving the problem you would benefit from using weight distribution. If the tongue weight on your trailer is 500 pounds, loaded and ready to tow, you will want a system with a tongue weight capacity range that encompasses that 500 pound tongue weight. I recommend a system with a range of 400 to 800 pounds.

You can use the Pro Series RB2 Round Bar Weight Distribution Kit with Shank, # RP67509. This system has a 400 to 800 pound tongue weight capacity and 10,000 pound gross trailer weight capacity. It comes with the required shank so all you will need is a properly sized ball like # 19286 (2-5/16 inch diameter) or # A-90 (2 inch diameter).
