Question:
I am trying to adapt a 6 pin connector on my Winnebago View to a four pin connector on the boat trailer. On most vehicles the brake lights and the signal lights work together. On the View the tail lights and brake lights work together. The signal lights are separate lights and bulbs. On the trailer the signal lights and brake lights work together. Any ideas ?

Expert Reply:
To take separate turn signal and brake signals from your motorhome and convert them to combined for your trailer connection, I recommend the Upgraded Circuit protected converter that is powered by the battery # 119178. This will need to be installed before your 6-way trailer connection and will allow you to simply use an adapter like # PK12717.
I've attached a photo to help you with wiring locations on your 6-way trailer connector.
