Question:
I have 2011 Fleetwood Discovery and want to put a brake controller to pull a car trailer. What controller will work for me ?

Trailer brake controllers are not vehicle-specific so you have the flexibility to use essentially any one you want to. Since our customers provide lots of honest feedback I like to listen to them and so I recommend either the Prodigy P2 # 90885 or the P3 # 90195 for use in your Fleetwood's Freightliner chassis. The main differences between the two units are some additional features on the P3 but they are essentially the same unit so either one will work very well for you towing your car trailer.
You will use kit # ETBC7 along with extra wire # 10-2-1 to install the controller and the 7-way that will carry all lighting and trailer brake signals for the car trailer. You can refer to the linked article for detailed installation instructions.

I'm looking for a brake controller and adapter harness for my 2018 Fleetwood Discovery on a Freightliner chassis. There is a plug under dash for brake controller.
