4-Way Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2011 Dodge Dakota to Bypass Factory Wiring
Published 05/12/2017 >
Question:
Will this product work on a dakota that has a factory flat 4 way that I dont want to use because it must have a disconnected wire right turn/brake-green wire that is just too hard to find. My original connector is beat up too. This seems like an inexpensive alternative.

Yes, the trailer wiring kit part # 55323 that you referenced is a fit for your 2011 Dodge Dakota and will work well for what you are looking to do. It installs by plugging in line with the tail light wiring of your truck which allows it to bypass the factory trailer wiring problems you are having.
I attached a link to an install video for you to check out as well.
