Question:

Hi, I was looking for the longest single track to install on my Fleetwood E1 aluminum skinned roof. I dont think the aluminum roof is stout enough to handle the rivet install of the RT-20. I could just drill out the rivet holes, but then I have to get the right hardware, so I was considering getting the RTC-18 per a conversation with Rhino-Track rep here in Denver. The Yakima 86inch bars are the best fit for my trailer width, so hence the question above as the RTC-18 tracks are wider than the RT-20. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

It has been my experience that the Rhino-Rack tracks are not compatible with some of the other track mount feet so what I recommend is to use Yakima tracks # Y01135 to ensure compatibility with the Yakima Landing Pads and feet. For metal roofs you would just need to add hardware kit # Y8880039.

You will also need 2 sets of Landing Pads # Y00221, SkyLine Towers # Y00148, RoundBar Adapters # Y03536, and the 86 inch bars # Y00420.
