Does There Need to be a Fuse Wired in to the Blue Wire of a Brake Controller

Question:
Hello, Should I add a fuse the output of my brake controller blue wire lets say 20A, in order to protect my brake controller unit? Thank you in advance for you time and advice.

It is not necessary to wire a fuse inline of the brake controller circuit blue wire. In fact, if you did install a fuse and the fuse would somehow blow while your are in transit, you will loose your trailer brakes.
The amperage that is sent to the brake magnets on this wire is very low. There will be no issues with amperage overload on the blue wire.
