Question:

I have a tow ready interchangeable tow ball kit for my Jaguar F-Pace. It does not have a 50mm ball that I really need for European glider trailers towing. Can you contact Tow Ready and ask them to make me a 50mm ball for their interchangeable ball kit please.

After researching with Tow Ready, I found out that they do not have a 50mm ball option for the Tow Ready Interchangeable Hitch Ball Set, like # 63803. However, I have a solution for you.

The Brophy 50MM Hitch Ball, # EH53C-C, can either be installed in your current ball mount or you may want to purchase a second ball mount to mount the 50MM ball. The ball has a shank that measures 1 inch in diameter and 2-1/8 inches long. This will allow you to switch ball mounts in and out with out removing and re-mounting the trailer ball on your current ball mount.

For a ball mount, knowing the correct drop or rise needed will be important when choosing one for your towing set-up. I have attached an article that will explain how to measure your vehicle and trailer to find the correct ball mount. I have also attached a link that will take you to all the ball mounts we carry and you can choose the correct mount you will need for you situation by size.
