Question:
I have a 2015 Forest River Sunseeker Class C motorhome with Ride Rite helper springs that have two separate inflating locations. I do not have the manual, what should they be set at? Also, I checked them with a tire gauge and the gauge showed no air pressure. Is it safe to inflate them using regular pressurized air like at a gas station? Ride Rite helper Springs FSN-21-9015

Expert Reply:
Your 2015 Forest River Sunseeker Class C motorhome with Firestone Ride Rite helper springs is made on the e- series chassis, so you most likely have the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # F22ZR. These springs should be run from 5psi to 100psi and yes you can use regular compressed air at your gas station.
If you want to change the location of your valves, you can use the Air Line Service Kit for Firestone Ride-Rite/Sport-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2012. If you'd like to add an air compressor so you don't need to manually adjust your springs and have an air pressure gauge, I recommend the Firestone Air Command I # F2158.
