Question:
My 2014 Pathfinder has a towing capacity of 5000lb, and a Maximum Tongue load of 500lb. I am looking at travel trailers with dry weight around 4000-4200 lb, but some have a hitch weight around 560 lb. There are warnings not to exceed the Maximum Tongue load and I would like to know if a Weight Distribution system can be used to remedy this. I appreciate your feedback.

You will need to look to see if the vehicle has a second higher capacity when used with a weight distribution system. Typically there will be two sets of capacities. Weight carrying (which will be lower) and weight distribution (which will be higher).
For your 2014 Nissan Pathfinder we have the Curt hitch part # C13126 which is rated for use with WD and it has a 4,000 lb towing capacity with 600 lbs tongue weight.
For a WD system the part # RP66083 would work well as it has a tongue weight range of 400-800 lbs and features only sway control that works to fight sway before it starts.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
