What Distance Should There Be Between Axles On A Triple Axle Trailer?

Question:

approx 26 in center to center 6 leaf springs.double eye 5200lb axlestriple trailer. 14625 GW Venture trailer One of the axles has slipped rearward and makes the equalizer on that axle both sides tilted way more then the others. Can you give me an idea of what the distance between axles should be? Venture tells me approx. 32 inches. I would have to stretch the springs farther then they would be at a normal length

From what I can find, for 5200 lb axles you will want 29.5 inches between the hangers center to center and 33.25 inches axle center to center for double eye springs in most cases. Your equalizers and shackle straps will take up some of that measurement difference between your springs.
