Since we have quite a variety of platform mount bike racks to choose from to use with your 2018 Honda CR-V I will give you a couple of recommendations.
A good entry-level platform bike rack is the Curt # C18085. This is a lightweight bike rack that can hold up to two 45 lb bikes by securing their wheels to the cradles. This means that it can accommodate a wide variety of bikes as long as they do not have a fender or basket. This bike rack can be used with either a 1-1/4 inch or a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver.
The next step up from the Curt would be the Kuat Transfer # KU74FR. The Transfer can hold up to two 40 lb bikes, but there are a few extra things that make this bike rack a better choice. It has the ability to be tilted with bikes loaded for access to your rear cargo area. The Transfer can also be folded up to provide extra clearance at the rear of your CR-V when you are not hauling bikes. This bike rack can also be used with either a 1-1/4 inch or a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver.
The best option, and what I recommend, comes from Kuat. Kuat has their NV 2.0 that will fit a 2 inch hitch receiver, part # NV22G, or a 1-1/4 inch hitch receiver, part # NV12G. The NV 2.0 has a lot of the same features that the Sitkka has, but they are a little more streamlined for ease of use. It has the capability to tilt, fold, and is a wheel mount carrier, but the trays that hold the bikes are much easier to adjust and is has an integrated anti-rattle mechanism as opposed to the threaded hitch pin that the Sitkka uses. The tilting and folding features are activated by a foot pedal instead of reaching down to activate the lever by hand like most bike racks use. The best feature is that the NV 2.0 has a built-in bike repair stand so that you can repair your bikes easier while you are on the road. If you are at home you can take the bike stand out and use it with the Tri-Doc # TDSNVO to easily repair your bike in the garage instead or behind your car.
I have attached some review videos for you to check out as well.
