Question:
I have a question about the following products: Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4inch Item # 24808, and Curt Class I Receiver Hitch - 2005 Toyota Prius Code: C11468. I want to know the distance between the hole for the lock pin to the end of the square receiver tubing on these two products. I have a bike rack that I want to fit onto the trailer hitch, but I want to make sure that it will fit. From the pictures on your website, I cant tell if the tubing is long enough to allow the bike rack to go in far enough so that the lock pin holes can line up. Thank you for your help in advance!

Expert Reply:
From the hitch pin hole to the end of the receiver tube of the Curt # C11468 is 1-7/8 inches and the same measurement on Draw-Tite # 24808 is 2-1/8 inches. They're both a Class I hitch receivers so you'll need to use accessories specifically designed for Class I.
You should know, the Curt hitch requires you to use a support strap, # 18050, when using the hitch to carry a bike rack.
