Does Firestone Level Command II Compressor Require the Use of a One Gallon Tank, 2007 Dodge Ram 3500

Question:
I have ride rite bags on my 2007 Dodge 3500 dually and want to add the 2158 compressor and gage. I noted that it says that you have to have a one gallon air tank.........do I need to add an airtank ? or not ?

The Firestone Level Command II - Single-Gauge w/ Standard-Duty Compressor - Single Function, # F2158, comes with everything needed to control your air springs. You will not need to add a 1 gallon tank. If it is used with a tank, this compressor is only rated for use with a 1 gallon tank.
