4-Way to 5-Way Adapter Recommendation for 2015 Ford Edge
Published 03/30/2017 >
Question:
Hi I have a 2015 Ford Edge Titanium. About a year ago I purchased the Trailer Hitch and 4 flat kit. I have a need to switch to a 5-flat kit because I plan on towing on occasion a boat with disc surge brakes. I need to deactivate the brakes in reverse. Did you have anything for this? Thanks

We have exactly what you are looking for. The 4-way to 5-way adapter part # 20036 will convert the 4-way to a 5-way and will allow you to run the additional wire to the reverse light circuit on your Edge so that it will activate the reverse lock out solenoid of your surge brake actuator.
