Recommended Class lll Trailer Hitch For 2001 Ford Escape

Question:
I was looking up Curt hitch 13506 for a 2001 Ford Escape and it came up this is not a fit for your vehicle. I went to the Curt Website and it states that it is. Just curious as to why its not a fit.

I just double checked and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13506 will work with your 2001 Ford Escape.
