Is 2/0 AWG Welding Cable Okay To Use For Running Two 6 Volt Batteries In Series On A Trailer?
Updated 03/29/2017 | Published 03/28/2017 >
Question:
I just bought two 6 volt deep cycle batteries for my trailer. I want to wire in series obviously and have some left over 2/0 welding cable I planned on using to jump the two. In order to get from one battery box to the other it has to be about 18inch long. Im guessing since its 2/0 AWG that would be OK. What do you think? Thanks

Yes. Your 2/0 AWG welding cable will be just fine for running your 6 volt deep cycle batteries in series on your trailer. The 18 inch length you suggested should work well.
