Question:

I own a Class A 2007 Four winds Hurricane 34B, The chassis is a 2006 Ford F53, i want to improve the swaying in corners and high winds. what would you recommend as a good starting point, i have been looking at sway bars for the rear but not sure how much improvement this would make, also it very confusing as to what is the best and correct sway bar. Thanks.

In general it is best to start anti-sway efforts at the front of the motorhome, to prevent such handling issues from then rolling through the entire vehicle.

For a front anti-sway bar I suggest Roadmaster's # RM-1139-148 which works on both V8 and V10 models. This no-drill install replaces the OEM sway bar with a beefy 1-3/4-inch-diameter 4140 chromoly steel bar that includes polyurethane bushings that last a long time. This will usefully stiffen the front end response.

Next up in priority is a steering stabilizer; for the V8 use # RM-RBK4-RSSA. This bolt-on kit installs between the steering mechanism and the chassis. They work to return your steering to the center position to help prevent wander and over-steering.
