Dont see a 1/2 inch roller shaft and pal nuts for your 8inch spool roller YR8302-4P. Am I missing something or do I buy a extra long one and cut it off? Thanks

The shaft you would want to use with the 8 inch long spool roller part # YR8302-4P that you referenced is the part # CE10725A which measures 8-7/8 inches in length.
