Slide-Out Supports for 2013 Palomino Solar Ultra Lite Travel Trailer Frame Beam

Question:

Hello. I have a 2013 Palomino Solar Ultra Lite travel trailer. I was wondering if I could use this part as an additional stabilizer under neath along the frame beam instead of using it as a slide out support? My slide outs have the Schwintek system. Talking with LCI they stated that it would not be recommended to stabilize the slide out cause it could damage the Schwintek system. Thanks.

The Ultra-Fab Slide-Out Supports for Motor Homes # UF19-960002 referenced in your question are designed to stabilize a motorhome slide-out by supporting their bottom frame rails. They are rated for this purpose so I cannot be sure if they will work properly in a different application. When used together, the two included slide-out supports have a total weight capacity of 1,400 pounds.

The U-Channel inside bracket width is 4-3/4 inches with a front to back measurement of 2-1/2 inches. The slide-outs height can adjust from 21 inches to 37 inches, depending on the length needed for support.
