Recommended Cargo Roof Box For 2017 Hyundai Tucson With Roof Antenna

Question:

We have a Tucson with factory roof rails. There is a small antenna that is in the center of the roof near the rear hatch . Which roof cargo carrier would you recommend?

I called my contact at Thule and they said that the roof boxes up to 17-cu ft will work on your 2017 Tucson and will not interfere with the antenna on your roof. Many of the roof boxes allow you to shift them forward a bit and that can help as well.

For a smaller roof box you can check out the Thule Pulse part # TH614. This is a 13-cu ft box that measures 73-inches long x 34-1/2-inches wide x 16-inches tall. It requires a crossbar spread of 23-5/8 inches to 35-1/2 inches so you do have some flexibility for moving the box forward if needed.
