Question:
Do show a Quick Connect Socket for Wire Harness for a brake controller in a 2009 Jeep Liberty SPort that HAS a factory installed Tow Package?

Even though Jeep didn't put a brake controller connector under the dash of your Liberty, you can still install a controller very easily.
Since your 2009 Jeep Liberty has the factory 7-way connector, Jeep will have already ran the brake controller output circuit from under the dash back to the 7-way. This will be bundled up under the dash, near the emergency brake pedal or behind the kick plate, and will be labeled 'brake output'. The wire is usually blue, but could also be red or light green. This wire would connect to the blue wire on the brake controller.
You'll also need the # 5506 brake controller install kit to complete the installation. The remainder of the brake controller wires would connect as follows:
Black wire to positive battery terminal via circuit breaker included in kit
White wire to negative battery terminal
Red wire to wire on Cold side of the brake stoplamp switch located at top of brake pedal. You'll need to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to probe the wires exiting the switch. When you locate the wire that only shows power when the brake pedal is pressed, tap the red brake controller wire into that circuit.
I'll link you to some FAQ articles that will help you through the installation.
