When picking out a transmission and/or power steering cooler you want to basically go with the largest one that will fit in front of the radiator. A remote cooler with a fan is typically only needed on vehicles that don't have an area in front of the radiator that will allow a cooler to fit. For your 2001 Acura MDX this would work, but it may not be totally necessary.
The # D13503 that we previously spoke about would be more than adequate as has proven to work well on even larger vehicles that yours.
Power steering coolers don't really require as much size since they don't create as much heat. For that the part # D13212 would be a great option.
