Need Tube Dimensions On A Caster Wheel For A 2 Inch O.D. Tube On A Trailer Tongue Jack

Question:
Hi, I need a caster wheel for a tongue jack. The down tube on the jack is 2 O.D., so I assume the caster I need will have about a 1 5/8 O.D. and then fit inside and secure with the pin. Your products dont have dimensions illustrated, but Im trying to verify that the ones that say for 2 jack will work. I have one caster already that doesnt work because the O.D. is 2 - same as the jack tube so it cant attach. To avoid this, can you please clarify the exact tube diameter dimensions on part #PS1400750340. Thank you.

The tube diameters on the Pro Series 6 Inch, Detachable Caster w/ Pin, part # PS1400750340, is 2 inch inside diameter and 2-1/4 inch outside diameter. The down tube on a 2 inch jack will fit inside the 2 inch tube on the caster.
You will need to make sure that the jack will have the hole in the down tube for the pin on the caster to go through and hold the caster to the jack. Also, both of the casters have a weight capacity of 1,200 lbs. If these casters are used on a jack with a higher weight capacity, the weight capacity will be reduced to the lower 1,200 lb. weight capacity of the caster.
