Question:
Dear Etrailer, I am looking for a trailer hitch for my 2005 Ford Sport Trac that has a five pin round receptacle built into the hitch. Do you have this type of trailer hitch available? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
Some trailer hitches do include a mounting bracket for trailer wiring but these are also available separately and they can be installed in places other than on the hitch itself. The two hitches we offer for your 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac are both 2-inch Class III types that are displayed on the linked page. Neither has a wiring harness bracket.
To install a 5-way round socket like # PK11502 on the hitch tube you can use bracket # RM-910030-5 along with bracket extension # C57202.
