I checked out the owner's manual for the 2010 Honda Fit and on page 238 it states that the vehicle can be towed with the proper tow bar and equipment. I will make some recommendations that will work for you.
The base plates I recommend are part # BX2253. The tow bar I recommend is the Blue Ox Alpha, part # BX7380. This tow bar comes with safety cables.
The tow bar wiring I recommend is the Roadmaster 6-Diode kit, part # 154-792-118158. You will also need a fuse bypass, part # RM76511.
A supplemental brake system is needed and for that I recommend part # BRK2016. This is a proportional brake system that applies the brakes on the towed vehicle with the same intensity as the brakes in the towing vehicle.
Finally, you want to tow the vehicle as level as possible so you may need a high-low adapter. I have attached a link to our product page for the adapters we offer.
I have also attached links to some helpful articles about flat-towing you can check out.
