I have a 2017 Silverado 2500 and Im looking for a rack-bed cover combination. It would be nice if the rack folded or was easily removed when not hauling a ladder

Combining a ladder rack and tonneau cover can be tricky. Not only do they need to install together but they need to be able to be used together. Luckily I have a solution.

The TracRac SR Ladder Rack # TH43002XT-781 installs into the stake pockets of your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The tracks are on top of the bed rails and easy to remove when you don't need it.

Since it installs on top of the rails you'll be able to use a tonneau cover that sits inside the rails. The best option for this is the BAK Revolver X2 # BAK39121. The Revolver sits further inside the bed rails than many other covers and since it rolls up instead of folds up it doesn't make contact with the ladder rack's uprights.

I recently spoke with BAK about this exact setup and they confirmed it to work on a GM truck like yours.
