Question:
Hi, I am looking for a trailer wiring harness for my 2015 gmc terrain. You have two products with the grey 4 pin connector: 118264 and C56210 they are slightly different shapes on the side that clips in. can you tell me the difference, or help me figure out which one i need? I looked in the rear cargo area and can see the grey connector in my vehicle, but I have not opened up the trim to get my hands on it yet.

Both the Curt # C56210 and the Tekonsha # 118264 fit your 2015 GMC Terrain as long as you have the tow package. The connectors are designed with a slightly different clip but they both work the same and mate with the same connector. Since you've already found the connector behind the driver's side trim panel in the rear cargo area your Terrain has the tow package.
The other parts you'll need to tow with your GMC, if you don't already have them, are a trailer hitch receiver, ball mount, hitch ball, and pin and clip.
I suggest the etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98865. This receiver is a bolt-on installation and includes all the necessary hardware. I've linked an install video for you.
For an adjustable ball mount I suggest the B&W Tow & Stow # BWTS10035B. This will provide either 3 inches of drop or 3-1/2 inches of rise. It also has the feature to flip under the hitch receiver out of the way when not in use. If you prefer a different ball mount I've linked our selection as well as an article to help you determine the correct rise or drop you'll need.
Finally, for a hitch pin and clip you can use # PC3 or if you prefer a locking pin for more security # BX8858.
