Question:
Going into Yosemite. Have a 2014 Cherokee Trailhawk. Im told I *may* need chains to enter. But Trailhawk site says Cherokee tires are sufficient. Also says chains should not be used with the Trailhawk. The 2014 Jeep Cherokee Pewag Snox Pro Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - Square Link - appears to satisfy the issues with this Jeep, and I guess this is workable with the Trailhawk. I guess the questions are: do you know if the All Terrain tires with the Trailhawk still require chains? And if so - I need these in Palm Springs, California by mid-week is that possible?

The owners manual for your 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk states that you should use class S chains so I do recommend using chains even with the All Terrain tires. I really liked the Pewag Snox Pro Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains PWSXV590 that were discontinued, but they were replaced with the Pewag Servo RS Self-tensioning Snow Tire Chains # PWRSV80A. These are titanium alloy steel chains with built in tensioners. The square links provide better traction and the diamond pattern a smoother ride. You will need to look at the tire sizes for your Jeep to find a similar style if these chains aren't a confirmed fit.
If you have 225/55-18 or the 225/60-17, I recommend the # TH01594240.
If you have 225/60-18, I recommend the # TH02230K66
If you have the 225/65-17 , I recommend the # PWSXV580 that you referenced.
If you have the 245/65-17, I recommend the # PWRSV80A previously referenced.
