You will need to make sure that the 12 volt pin, located in the 1 oclock position (if looking at the face of the 7-Way), is functional. Use a circuit tester, like # 40376, to test the pin. With the adapter plugged into the 7-Way, you will be able to plug in a 12 volt accessory.
