Question:
I need to get a tow hitch and wiring for my 2015 kia sorento lx. We are going to be pulling a small camper that has a 7 pole connection and electric brakes. I need a brake controller as well. Is there an adapter i can buy to make a 4 pole a 7 pole or do you have a wiring harness that does it all including wiring for the brake controller? Thanks

I suggest the Draw-Tite # 75772 for a trailer hitch receiver on your 2015 Kia Sorento LX. This is a Class III hitch with a 2 inch receiver opening. You'll then need to find the rise or drop you need to tow your trailer level in order to choose a ball mount. I've linked an article to help you determine what you need so you can choose the correct mount.
Before you can install a 7-way trailer connector you'll first need a 4-way. The Tekonsha # 118583 you will provide the 4-way. This harness plugs into your Kia's wiring behind the tail lights. There's no splicing.
The adapter we have to add a 7-way is our # ETBC7 kit. This kit uses the 4-way and adds the additional wiring to have a full functioning 7-way. It includes all the wiring and circuit breakers necessary to install the brake controller. I recommend using the Prodigy P2 # 90885 brake controller because of how easy it is to use and setup. You'll need to hardwire this in to the Kia.
I've attached several articles you might fine useful. There's also some install videos attached that might help you. They're obviously not of a Kia Sorento but the installation process will be very similar.
