Question:
looking at the v-bar snow chains for my yukon denali all wheel drive.Does the cams have to all be tightened or if the chains are fitting tight with only a few tightened can you leave others in untightened position and chain be safe?. Are the cams on both sides....inside and outside? What size of chain is used with these ?

Expert Reply:
The Glacier V-Bar Snow Tire Chains with Cam Tighteners, # PWH2821SC, has cam tighteners just on the front of the chains. In order for the chains to fit properly, you would cinch up each cam and not leave any loose. The chains are 5.95mm thick. I recommend checking your vehicle owners manual to determine if chains can be used and if there are any restrictions. I have included a link to our tire chain FAQ for reference.
