Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Class III - 2" # C13290 is a confirmed fit for your 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC300. This is a bolt on assembly that will give you a 2 inch receiver that will fit most accessories and of course will allow towing.

if you will be towing with this hitch, I recommend using the Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT. This harness uses zero contact interface sensors to allow it to recognize signal without cutting or piercing the wires and thus keeping a warranty in tact as well as protecting your factory wiring systems. You will need to run a power wire to the battery. This system will give you a 4-way trailer connection.

To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
