Will Curt Trailer Hitch C11354 Fit a 2014 Volkswagen Beetle R-Line Gas Turbo Coupe
Published 01/31/2017 >
Question:
Everything I read on your website and on Curts says that the Curt C11354 will fit a 2014 Beetle Turbo Coupe. However, it does not explicitly say R-Line. My dealership says that according to their contact, there are no hitches for my 2014 R-Line Turbo Coupe, including Curt. I note that the Draw Tite specifically excludes the R-Line. Bottom line: Can I use the 11354 on my 2014 R-Line Turbo gas coupe? Does the description turbo gas coupe mean the R-Line?

Expert Reply:
A 2014 Volkswage Beetle gas turbo is not necessarily an R-Line so they are not synonymous. I spoke with my contact at Curt about hitch # C11354 and they do not exclude R-Line models and have not had anyone complain about the fit on an R-Line model. Based on this it is a safe bet it will fit it just hasn't been tested on an R-Line.
