Question:
My 2015 Subaru Forester has 215/65/R17 M + S tires on it. What tire cable chains would you recommend?......PW 1038? I only plan to use them on the front for an icy 1/4 driveway at slow speeds.

Expert Reply:
For your tire size of 215/65R17 the correct Glacier tire chain size is actually the part # PW1042 which would be a great option for occasional use. That being said for the price difference you would have a better overall experience with the Titan chain setup part # TC1553 which is a low clearance, diamond pattern. These will be easier to install, last longer, and give you better traction.
