Is Distance From Mounting Flange To Front Of Hub Between Idler And Brake Hubs On Axle-Less System
Updated 01/24/2017 | Published 01/23/2017 >
Question:
If I install idler hubs on this unit, will the hub face distance be 6 inches as is shown in the attached drawings? Also, if I choose at a later date to install brakes, will the hub face distance remain at 6 inches?

When using an idler hub or a hub and drum with brakes on the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System, part # ASR2000S02, the difference in the distance from the bracket to the front face of the hub as shown in the attached drawing would be the same.
The # ASR2000S02is designed for trailers with one or two axles and has a weight capacity of 2,000-lbs. One note: If your trailer does not have a crossmember above the place where you are installing the Timbrens, you may need to reinforce the trailer frame.
