Clamping A Step Through Frame On The Swagman XC 2-Bike Platform Rack

Question:

There isnt a cross bar on this KHS TC100L Bike. There is only about 3 to 3.5 inches between the crank and the frame. Will the locking clamp on the Bike rack go that low. Can it hold the bike securely?

I reached out to my contact at Swagman and they said that the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Platform Style for 1-1/4" and 2" Trailer Hitches, # S64650 will absolutely work with your KHS TC100L Bike. He said that you will need to use the lower of the two clamps on that bike but he was confident you won't have a problem locking your bike securely.
