Will this 5th wheel hitch and brackets work with a 2011 Dodge 2500 long box pickup?

The Curt E5 Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch with Rails and Universal Installation Kit, part # C16116, includes the base rails and the universal installation kit. I spoke with my contact at Curt and he said the universal installation kit will fit on a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 with 8 foot bed.

I would recommend to use the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Dodge Ram, part # C16420-104, which is the custom installation kit. The custom kit uses the same base rails, but will use custom installation brackets that are vehicle specific. The custom fit brackets will mount to existing holes in the vehicles frame and cuts the installation time in half when compared with universal brackets. Also, the price difference between the universal and the custom brackets is minimal. I am including a link to the installation instructions on the # C16420-104 custom installation kit.
