Tonneau Cover that Can Roll or Fold from Cab Back on a 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500 Short Bed

Question:

I have a fuel tank in the front of my pickup and when I fill that tank I remove my cover from the front corner. will your cover unroll to expose just a front corner to add fuel?

Technically you could roll TruXedo Tonneau cover # TX281101 for the 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed from the front to the back. However it was not designed to do this easily. There is no latching mechanism at the front of the cover like there is at the back so this cover would not be the best option for that seeing as you would basically have to dismantle part of it.

For an inexpensive soft cover that you can open from the front you could use a snap on cover such as # EX2940. Beyond that the only other option is a hard Tonneau cover, the Extang EnCore, # EX62940, which can fold from the front. But they cost more than the soft covers.
