Was interested in a roof bike rack My concern is clamps downs and what kind of damage they can do to car finish. I own a 2014 Hyundai Genesis.

To carry a bike rack on the roof of your 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan you will need to install a roof rack first. The most popular custom fit rack is the Rhino Rack part numbers # RRVA126B-2, # RRRLKVA and # DK026 which if you install the rack properly you would not have to worry about clamping down too tight on the roof of the vehicle and damaging anything.
The fork mounted roof bike rack by Rhino Rack part # RBC036 would then be a great option as well.
