Do 16k and 20k Fifth Wheel Hitches Connect to Same Size King Pin
Updated 01/09/2017 | Published 01/08/2017 >
Question:
We have a 16K fifth wheel hitch and we are replacing it with a 20K. We have a 34ft fifth wheel. Does the size of the opening on the 16 or 20K hitch have any impact on the hookup on the fifth wheel? Will our fifth wheel fit into the 20K just like it did in the 16K?

Helpful Expert Reply:
All of the fifth wheel hitches we carry are designed to fit the same size king pin on a trailer. A 16k hitch would work just as well to connect to a fifth wheel trailer as a 20k fifth wheel hitch.
I attached a link to a page that has all of the 20k fifth wheel hitches we offer.
