Curt or Draw Tite Class I Hitch for 2013 Kia Optima and 2014 Nissan Altima
Published 01/05/2017 >
Question:
Just wondering the differance between the class 1 and the draw tite. Is the draw tite just a little more hidden than class 1? I want to have them hidden as much as I can. Looking to install on a 2014 altima and a 2013 optima sxl. Thanks

I believe you are asking about the difference between the Curt and Draw Tite hitches for the vehicles you referenced as Class I is a reference to the overall capacity of a hitch and is not a brand.
In general I recommend Draw Tite hitches over Curt hitches on Class I vehicles as they don't require a stabilizer strap like the Curt hitches do when you carry a bike rack or cargo carrier.
For your 2013 Optima you would want the part # 24965 which I attached an install video for. Then for the 2014 Nissan Altima you would want the part # 24796.
