Question:
I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata for which I would like to purchase a hitch. You have two square tube models on your website a Draw Tite and a Hidden Hitch. Is there one or another that is less conspicuos from behind and does one have any other advantages vs. the other.Other than that one comes with bar and ball and the other not, are there any other differences.?

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite and Hidden Hitch are basically the same design and one would not be less conspicuous than the other behind your Sonata. The only real difference in these two hitches is that the ball mount, pin and clip are provided with the Hidden Hitch model, item # 60269 (no longer available).
Many of our customers select the round tube hitch style when appearance is a factor. The rounded cross tube normally blends better with the underside of the vehicle and sort of disappears. The Curt Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver with Drawbar, item # C11025, has a round cross tube design and is rated for the same towing capacities as the other models. The photo at right shows the hitch installed on a vehicle similar to yours.
With the Curt hitch, if you will be using bike racks, cargo carriers and so forth you should support them with a stabilizing strap, item # 18050.
