Question:
Hi, is it possible that it will work for our Skybox serial #07179-09071 We picked it up on the garage sale, so I do not know which year is manufactured. Thanks for help!

I reached out to my contact at Yakima and they were able to cross-reference the serial number. The Replacement SuperLatch Handle Assemblies for Yakima SkyBox Rooftop Cargo Boxes - Qty 2 # Y8880348, will be the correct replacement for your Skybox. You have one of the first production runs with that latch, so it most likely was manufactured in 2009.
